Having spent the last few months in sunshine and hot weather, I finally gave in to the fact that I am back in London where the autumn/winter season is already in full swing. Therefore, upon my return, I pulled my winter wardrobe out of hibernation in order to embrace the colder weather and in turn, I have rediscovered some of my favourite pieces. One such item is this beautiful red beret with black velvet ribbon, which for me is one of those prized possessions that you forget you have and then all of a sudden it reappears and just brightens up your day!
So I decided that today would be my first hat day and feeling rather inspired from the style of the beret, the rest just fell into place..
